Magazine Review – Cheers Mag

The updated and renewed local magazine Cheers is both bright and informative. Not a new idea by any stretch, but a very welcome one. Free magazines and papers are popping up all over the place and they can be very useful.

Cheers offers a good mix of local information, local as in Tameside and the achievable travelling distance, that everyone needs for a good night out. From bars, to restaurants, to the artist’s performing, the magazine has all areas covered. In the new October edition, a quick leaf through reveals a nice little interview with that comedy old timer with the tickling stick, Ken Dodd. I didn't know he was still performing, but Cheers reliably informs me he is.

Interviews with publicans and local performers help to bring Tameside to life. This time around, the landlord and landlady of the Albion, Dukinfield and a local comedian, songwriter, Dom Collins who has been places.

There are Gig Guides for October, a handy little quiz, and Classifieds relevant to the locale. In fact, it’s full of useful tit-bits, not just for the locals but for visitors too.

You know what they say? “A change is as good as a rest.” So, if you’re planning a night out and Tameside isn't too far, it may be worth looking Cheers Mag up on the internet. They've got a great little site which expands on the magazine at http://www.cheersmag.com/ And, if you live in the area, there are plenty of outlets that stock the publication.

Cheers, folks!

A good web designer should treat a text as a person interface.
In his spare time, he joined several networks and began promoting the
hottest and most acceptable offers. You can create endless dishes just with one
